Letter from John Andrews to James White and the General Conference Committee members in Battle Creek, November 18, 1864. In this letter Andrews suggests he can be of more help to the denomination through access to the theological library available to him in Rochester. He is working on revising his History of the Sabbath to make it less likely to be attacked by skeptics. He is willing to relocate to Battle Creek if that is what the Brethren want, but he would like to stay in Rochester for the time being.

In a response several days later James White and George Amadon wrote that Andrews could stay in Rochester for the time being.
