The Center for Adventist Research (CAR) is committed to fostering high-quality scholarship on the history of the Adventist faith tradition. Through its fellowships and prizes, CAR encourages research that not only deepens understanding of Adventism but also situates it within broader historical, cultural, and theoretical contexts.
Each year, CAR awards research fellowships that provide financial support and access to resources for scholars. In addition, every three years CAR recognizes outstanding published work with its book and article prizes. The next book and article prize competition will be held in 2028.
