On Sunday, July 1, 2018 James White Library experienced flood damage, due to an HVAC problem, on all three floors of the library.

Thankfully, the damage in the Center for Adventist Research (CAR) was minimal. Only about 10 volumes were affected and have already been treated. The damage on the main floor of the Library was more extensive – 25,000 volumes were in the flood zone on the top and main floors.
