Worker TypeRegularJob DescriptionAV is looking for a highly talented Systems Engineer III - MBSE to join our team! In this role, you will support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Chief Engineer (MDA/CEM) in transforming the way in which the Agency approaches engineering. The ideal candidate has strong experience working with Model-based systems engineering (MBSE) tools and is interested in utilizing those tools to help move the Agency away from document-driven engineering.Assist with capturing and developing new system models to become the backbone for how MDA will approach future engineering efforts.Leverage your skills with a variety of MBSE tools.Coordinate with internal and external teams to collaborate on models.Required:Bachelor's Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM) field7+ years of experienceActive Secret clearanceStrong Model-based engineering experienceAbility to excel in a team settingExperience with Interface or Interoperability engineering domainsDesired:Expertise in MBSE Tools (SysML, Cameo, MathWorks Simulink, MATLAB, Visio, ModelCenter, etc.)MDA ExperienceExpertise in Command and Control (C2), data transport, Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT), or interoperabilityITAR Requirement:This position requires access to information that is subject to compliance with the International Traffic Arms Regulations (“ITAR”) and/or the Export Administration Regulations (“EAR”).
