Image Information:
Title:Historical Adventist church in Nashville
Description:Historical Adventist church in Nashville. Edson White did not want to go into debt to buy this church at Fifth and Fatherland Streets and quoted his mother on the subject. He had founded Southern Publishing Association, and the workers did not like worshiping in a second floor chapel there. Around 1905, Ellen White had a vision showing the church should obtain this building and asked Elder Daniells to contribute $5,000 out of a $100,000 fund or so for this purpose. They did this, and Adventists worshiped here until building the present Nashville 1st SDA Church in the early 1950's
