Description:Mrs. Laura Roncarolo (center) received a ,000 grant-in-aid from Altrusa International, inc., the oldest women's service club. The organization makes funds available to international women graduate students who are studying in American universities and who plan to return to their home countries. Dr. Ruth Murdoch (right) presented the check to her. Dr. Mercedes Dyer (left) vocational services chairman of the Altrusa Club of Benton Harbor and St. Joseph, had recommended Mrs. Roncarolo for the award. Mrs. Roncarolo received a master of arts in educational psychology from Andrews University in August, 1976, and subsequently pursued post-graduate studies
