Image Information:
Title:James Lewis Prescott
Description:The Prescotts were natives of New Hampshire, but resided in the state of Maine a number of years before moving to Battle Creek. When the headquarters of the denomination were removed to Washington, D.C., they followed and made their home for the remainder of their lives with their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Bristol. Father and Mother Prescott were typical people of the New England stock, loyal to the principles of right and duty, and faithful to their religious convictions. They were consistent members of the Seventh-day Adventist Church for more than a half a century, and died triumphant in the blessed hope. The memory of their devoted lives has been cherished by many who knew of their labors of love
