Title: | Christ, the way of life [photograph] E. G. White |
Description: | This is a pictoral representation of the plan of salvation. The cross of Christ is the central element. The picture moves, left to right, from the fall of man, the sacrificial system which was a type of the sacrifice of Jesus, to baptism, the Lord's supper, and the New Jerusalem. The original is a reduced-size copy of the original art engraving that is usually on display in the Andrews University Center for Adventist Research. The original engraving was commissioned by Ellen G. White and published in 1883. It is based on an engraving of a similar nature published by James White in 1876. This reproduction is probably published by the Ellen G. White Estate and was for some years available for purchase as a Shelf Document |
